The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 for that [resurrection which they deride] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry - and then, lo! they will begin to see [the truth] 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
