Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you then formed your symmetry, then gave you right proportion, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know all that you do. 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
