The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
