We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
