And Nuh, when he cried aforetime, so We answered him, and delivered him and his followers from the great calamity. 76 and helped him against the nation who had belied Our signs. They were an evil nation; We drowned them all. 77 And David and Solomon, when they gave judgment concerning the field, when people's sheep had strayed and browsed therein by night; and We were witnesses to their judgment. 78 And We made Sulaiman (Solomon) to understand (the case), and to each of them We gave Hukman (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains and the birds to glorify Our Praises along with Dawud (David), And it was We Who were the doers (of all these things). 79 And We taught him the making of coats of mail for you, that they might protect you in your wars; will you then be grateful? 80 And to Solomon the wind, strongly blowing, that ran at his command unto the land that We had blessed; and We had knowledge of everything; 81 And of the devils were those who dived for him and did work other than that. And We were of them a guardian. 82 ۞ When Job prayed, "Lord, I have been afflicted with hardships. Have mercy on me; You are the Most Merciful of those who have mercy, 83 We heard his prayer and relieved his suffering, We restored to him his family, doubling their number as an act of Our grace, and as a reminder for the worshippers. 84 And Ismail and Idris and Zulkifl; all were of the patient ones; 85 And We brought them in unto Our mercy. Lo! they are among the righteous. 86 Dhun Nun went away in anger and thought that We would never have power over him, but in darkness he cried, "Lord, You are the Only God whom I glorify. I have certainly done wrong to myself (so forgive me)". 87 We therefore heard his prayer and rescued him from grief; and similarly We shall rescue the Muslims. 88 And (remember) Zakariya (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors." 89 So We responded to him and gave him Yahya and made his wife fit for him; surely they used to hasten, one with another In deeds of goodness and to call upon Us, hoping and fearing and they were humble before Us. 90 And she who was chaste, therefor We breathed into her (something) of Our Spirit and made her and her son a token for (all) peoples. 91 Lo! this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me. 92 And they have broken their religion (into fragments) among them, (yet) all are returning unto Us. 93
