The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
