Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
