Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
