Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book (this Quran) is from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists) in which there is not doubt! 2 Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance. 3 God is He that created the heavens and the earth, and what between them is, in six days, then seated Himself upon the Throne. Apart from Him, you have no protector neither mediator; will you not remember? 4 He governs all that exists, from the celestial space to the earth; and in the end all shall ascend unto Him [for judgment] on a Day the length whereof will be [like] a thousand years of your reckoning. 5 Such is He who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind: the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 6 Who made all things good which He created, and He began the creation of man from clay; 7 then He causes him to be begotten out of the essence of a humble fluid; 8 then He gave it proper shape and blew His spirit in it. He made ears, eyes and hearts for you, but you give Him very little thanks. 9 And they say: What! when we have become lost in the earth, shall we then certainly be in a new creation? Nay! they are disbelievers in the meeting of their Lord. 10 ۞ Say thou: the angel of death who is set over you shall cause you to die, thereafter unto your Lord ye shall be returned. 11
