1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 Beside Allah, and lead them on to the path of the Flaming Fire. 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 So they shall on that day be sharers in the chastisement one with another. 33 Lo! thus deal We with the guilty. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 Nay! he has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him). 37 Lo! (now) verily ye taste the painful doom - 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 [in the hereafter,] theirs shall be a sustenance which they will recognize 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 In gardens of pleasure 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 delicious to those who drink it 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 They will turn to one another with questions: 50 Said one of the speakers: "I had a friend 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." 57 So, are we not going to die, 58 Save our first death, and are we not to be tormented? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is such [a paradise] the better welcome - or the [hellish] tree of deadly fruit? 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 Its crop is as it were the heads of devils 65 (The people of Hell) will surely eat of it, filling their bellies with it. 66 then in addition to it they shall have a draught of boiling water to drink; 67 Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 And verily most of the men of old went astray before them, 71 And verily We sent among them warners. 72 See how terrible was the end of those who were warned. 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
