The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 Would that you knew what hutamah is! 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 In pillars stretched forth (i.e. they will be punished in the Fire with pillars, etc.). 9
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah). Sent down in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
