The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
