۞ But who does greater evil than he who lies against God and cries lies to the very truth, when it comes to him? Is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 32 And he (Muhammad SAW) who has brought the truth (this Quran and Islamic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism), those are Al- Muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2). 33 They shall have with their Lord what they please; that is the reward of the doers of good; 34 So that Allah will turn off from them (even) the worst in their deeds and give them their reward according to the best of what they have done. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His bondman? Yet they would frighten thee with those beside Him? And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there shall be no guide. 36 And no one can mislead whomever Allah guides; is not Allah the Most Honourable, the Avenger? 37 If you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will surely reply, "God." Say, "Consider those you invoke besides Him: if God wished to harm me, could they undo that harm? Or if God wished to show me mercy, could they withhold that mercy?" Say, "God is sufficient for me. In Him let the faithful put their trust." 38 Say, "O my people, work according to your position, [for] indeed, I am working; and you are going to know 39 To whom will come a torment disgracing him and on whom will descend an enduring punishment." 40 Lo! We have revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture for mankind with truth. Then whosoever goeth right it is for his soul, and whosoever strayeth, strayeth only to its hurt. And thou art not a warder over them. 41
