▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But such as fears the Station of his Lord, for them shall be two gardens -- 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In both these is a pair of every fruit. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be anything other than goodness? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 In these there will also be two springs gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
