What ails the unbelievers, running with outstretched necks 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
