No, by the moon! 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 "And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers. 45 And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
