Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 produced water and grass therefrom, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
