Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Surely We revealed it on the grand night. 1 And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? 2 The grand night is better than a thousand months. 3 On this Night, the angels and the spirit descend by the permission of their Lord with His decree (to determine everyone's destiny). 4 (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
