Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does man not bear in mind that We have created him aforetime out of nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 Thereafter, We shall surely draw aside, from each sect, whichever of them against the Compassionate were most in excess. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to hell. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 And God shall increase those who were guided in guidance; and the abiding things, the deeds of righteousness, are better with thy Lord in reward, and better in return 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken to them other gods apart from God, that they might be for them a might. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
