۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
