The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
