▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 (jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 In them are women of good behaviour and gorgeous faces. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
