We gave Moses the Scripture, so [Muhammad] do not doubt that you are receiving it, just as We made it a guide for the Children of Israel. 23 We appointed leaders from among them, guiding by Our command when they were steadfast and when they had firm faith in Our signs. 24 Surely your Lord will decide between them about what they were at variance, on the Day of Resurrection. 25 Did they not find guidance in the many generations We had destroyed before them, over whose dwellings they (now) walk? There were indeed signs in this. Will they even then not listen? 26 Have they not seen that We drive water to the parched land, thereby bringing forth crops which they and their cattle eat? Are they unable to see? 27 They say: “If you are truthful, (tell us) when will the Judgement come?” 28 Say: 'On the Day of Victory their faith shall not profit the unbelievers, nor shall they be respited.' 29 Therefore turn away from them and wait, surely they too are waiting. 30
