So did you observe him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
