(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
