The tree of Zaqqum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 It will be like molted brass which will boil in the bellies 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 This is certainly what you had denied." 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59
