۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 And you wait for the moment (of death), 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Wherefore then, if ye are not to be requited 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
