Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 We gave them this pure distinction because of their continual remembrance of the Day of Judgment. 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 And remember Isma'il and Al-Yas'a and Zul-kifl; all of the excellent ones. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 Gardens of Eternity, whose doors will (ever) be open to them; 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ and with them maidens restraining their glances of equal age. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: our Lord! whosever hath brought this upon us, unto him increase doubly the torment of the Fire. 61 And they will add: "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we were wont to count among the wicked, 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 That most surely is the truth: the contending one with another of the inmates of the fire. 64
