The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
