3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 It is falsehood that you desire gods other than Allah! 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 And he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They said: build for him a building and cast him into the flaming fire. 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 This is how We reward the virtuous. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
