By no means! By the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 From the guilty. 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
