The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
