The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
