And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
