And when Musa said to his servant: I will not cease until I reach the junction of the two rivers or I will go on for years. 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 So when they had passed further on (beyond that fixed place), Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "Bring us our morning meal; truly, we have suffered much fatigue in this, our journey." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Moses said, "That is just what we were looking for." So they went back the way they had come, 64 Then they found one of Our servants unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and We had taught him knowledge proceeding from Us. 65 Moses said to him: 'May I follow you so that you can teach me of that you have learned of righteousness' 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 And how shouldst thou bear patiently that thou hast never encompassed in thy knowledge?' 68 He (Moses) said: 'If Allah wills, you shall find me patient, I shall not disobey your order' 69 The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." 70
