۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
