Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
