And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor can you lead the blind out of their error, you can only make to hear those who believe in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and who have submitted (themselves to Allah in Islam as Muslims). 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
