Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
