۞ And when the son of Mary is quoted as an example, behold! the folk laugh out, 57 And they say: Are our gods better, or is he? They do not set it forth to you save by way of disputation; nay, they are a contentious people. 58 He was naught but a servant on whom We bestowed favor, and We made him an example for the children of Israel. 59 And had We willed We could have appointed angels born of you in the earth to succeed each other. 60 And indeed, Jesus will be [a sign for] knowledge of the Hour, so be not in doubt of it, and follow Me. This is a straight path. 61 And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. 62 When Jesus came with Clear Signs and said: “I have brought wisdom to you that I may make plain to you some of the things you differ about. So fear Allah and follow me. 63 God is your Lord and my Lord, so worship Him. This is the right path". 64 But sects from among themselves fell into disagreement: then woe to the wrong-doers, from the Penalty of a Grievous Day! 65 Are they waiting except for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they perceive not? 66 Close friends, that Day, will be enemies to each other, except for the righteous 67
