What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 From the right and the left, in groups? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 Not so; for We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests, that, verily We are Able. 40 to replace them with [people] better than they are; for there is nothing to prevent Us [from doing what We will]. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
