Nay, and by the moon, 32 and the night when it retreats 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 A warning to mankind, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What was it that brought you to Hell?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
