The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Never does a new reminder come to them from Ar-Rahman but they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
