No, by the moon! 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 A warning to mortals, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 except those of the right hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 about the sinners. 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until death approached us". 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were frightened asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
