The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
