Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ No! I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 and by the self-reproaching soul! 2 Does man think that We cannot [resurrect him and] bring his bones together again? 3 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. 4 But man desires to persist in his evil ways. 5 He asks, “When will be the Day of Resurrection?” 6 But when the sight is dazed 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 And the sun and the moon shall be joined. 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No, there is no refuge. 11 With your Lord alone shall on that day be the place of rest. 12 Upon that day man shall be told his former deeds and his latter; 13 In fact, man himself is keeping an eye on his state of affairs! 14 Although he may put forth his pleas. 15 Do not forestall (the revelation before its completion) by acting in haste. 16 Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation. 17 So when We have read it, you should thereupon follow what is read. 18 Then lo! upon Us (resteth) the explanation thereof. 19 NAY, but [most of] you love this fleeting life, 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 Countenances on that Day shall be resplendent, 22 Looking towards their Lord; 23 and some faces will on that Day be gloomy, 24 Knowing that they will be subjected to a torment that breaks the backs. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 and the angels say, "Who will take away his soul, 27 And he bethinketh that it is the time of parting. 28 And the leg is wound about the leg, 29 upon that day unto thy Lord shall be the driving. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
