Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 noble scribes, 11 who know all that you do: 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
