The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the sky is rent asunder 1 and hearkens to the command of its Lord, doing what it should; 2 When the earth is stretched out taut 3 and casts forth whatever is in it, and becomes utterly void, 4 And obeys its Lord and it must. 5 O man, indeed you have to surely run towards your Lord, and to meet him. 6 And as for him whose record shall be placed in his right hand, 7 will be easy, 8 And he shall return unto his people joyfully. 9 But he who is given his Book from behind his back 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 and he will enter the blazing flame. 12 Behold, [in his earthly life] he lived joyfully among people of his own kind 13 Surely he thought that he would never return. 14 Why not? His Lord was always watching him. 15 So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; 16 The Night and its Homing; 17 and the moon, as it grows to its fullness: 18 that you shall surely ride from stage to stage. 19 What aileth them then, that they believe not, 20 and when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate themselves? ۩ 21 In fact the disbelievers keep denying. 22 And Allah well knows what they conceal in their hearts. 23 So give them good tidings of a painful chastisement, 24 Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted. 25
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
