The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And the promised day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 the fire abounding in fuel, 5 Behold! they sat over against the (fire), 6 and were witnessing what they did to the believers. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 Whose kingdom spreads over the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 and He is the Forgiving and Loving One. 14 the Owner of the Throne, the Glorious One, 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Hast thou received the story of the hosts, 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 inscribed on a well-guarded Tablet. 22
