The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
O the Cloaked One! (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) 1 arise, and warn! 2 and exalt your Lord, 3 cleanse your clothes, 4 stay away from sins 5 And do not through giving seek thyself to gain, 6 And for the good-will of thy Lord be thou patient. 7 When the Trumpet is sounded, 8 So that is a tough day. 9 For the disbelievers - not easy. 10 Leave him to Me, the one whom I created single. 11 and to whom I have granted resources in abundance, 12 and children living in his presence, 13 And made several preparations for him. 14 Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);- 15 By no means; he is stubbornly opposed to Our Signs. 16 We shall make him suffer the torment of hell without relief. 17 He planned and plotted. 18 death seize him, how he determined! 19 Yea, Woe to him; How he plotted!- 20 He then dared to lift his gaze. 21 Then frowned he and scowled. 22 and he turned his back and behaved arrogantly 23 Then he said: naught is this but magic from of old; 24 "This is nothing but the word of a human being!" 25 I will cast him into the fire of Hell. 26 What will let you know what the Scorching is like! 27 It spares not, neither leaves alone 28 Burning the skins! 29 Over it are nineteen [powers]. 30 And We have set none but angels as guardians of the Fire, and We have fixed their number (19) only as a trial for the disbelievers, in order that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may arrive at a certainty [that this Quran is the truth as it agrees with their Books i.e. their number (19) is written in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] and the believers may increase in Faith (as this Quran is the truth) and that no doubts may be left for the people of the Scripture and the believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) and the disbelievers may say: "What Allah intends by this (curious) example?" Thus Allah leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And none can know the hosts of your Lord but He. And this (Hell) is nothing else than a (warning) reminder to mankind. 31

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
